George William Twilley started he’s working life after the First World War as a green grocer this would have meant early starts each morning for the market, leaving a vehicle free for the rest of the day.
In those days it was standard practice for the green grocer and local removal company to be one of the same.

Stanley Charles Twilley left the royal engineers after the Second World War. He wanted to concentrate the business more on furniture removals and haulage and with his wife Lorna; they moved the company forward with Removals, Haulage, Storage and Export packing.

Their son, Malcolm George Twilley joined the firm upon leaving school and helped his father in the removals business. As it grew so did the staff, clientele and horizons when in the 90's they branched into minibus transport for children with disabilities and vulnerable adults. We employ local people, believing that local community is important.

The fourth generation of the Twilley family are also at the firm; Sharon joined first in 1997, and Suzanne later in 2001 and finally Stephen 2006 all of whom are actively involved in the successful running and expanding of the firm today.
