1- Notify utility companies and service providers.
Do this at least a month before moving day to ensure everything is up and running when you move. Utility companies don’t take summer breaks, but things may be a bit slower during these months, so plan in advance.
2- If you have children, keep their school records and similar documents in a separate box.

3- Start gathering packaging materials about a month before moving.
